LEED PLATINUM achieved across to ensure the highest standards in water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, and innovation in design. Plus a BER Rating of A3 to lower energy consumption and cost.
Sustainability is supported through efficient LED PIR lighting throughout the building. Managed by advanced ‘Dali’ lighting control systems that reduce energy consumption and optimise performance.
Rainwater is collected from the building’s roof, passed through the leaf filter, and accumulated in the collection tank before being pumped through the two-stage filtration system to the sanitary fittings. The tanks include level controls, overflows, and a connection to a rainwater booster unit to serve the outlets, with the piping system kept entirely separate from the domestic hot and cold water systems.
High quality envelope insulation, along with proprietary phase change material integrated into thermal storage units both maximise environmental efficiency. Energy systems include water heaters operating at 65º Celsius, and photovoltaic panels on the roof connected to the landlord board, all working together for sustainable, cost-effective performance.
